In addition to a number of routes accessing our region via wheels, you can easily access the Shuswap by flying to the Kamloops Airport.

- By Air
If you get here by air, your gonna need to get your feet on the ground at one of the two major airports servicing our region. The Shuswap has two airports within a 1-2 hour drive: the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) and the Kamloops Airport (YKA).
In addition to our two major air centres, there are a variety of air service providers who can help you keep your head in the clouds

Visitor Centres
Our four full-service Visitor Centres offer friendly, personalized travel information and literature, provide community information and provincial itinerary planning. There are numerous Visitor Information Kiosks with printed brochures, guides and maps to help plan your visit.
There are a number of self serve Information Kiosks throughout the North and South Shuswap. Shuswap Tourism publishes a wide range of guides to help you plan your visit – whatever your interests may be! Guides are available at our Visitor Centres and Information Kiosks, and can be viewed, downloaded, and ordered online, here!
