With warm lakes and over 600 kms of shoreline to discover, it’s a unique way for families and friends to create memories together summer after summer or spring and fall, where you just might just feel like you’ve got a lake to yourself – and the water’s still warm enough to jump in.
Most houseboats come with full kitchen, deck BBQ, living/dining room and cozy sleeping quarters. Some have hot tubs and water slides off the back deck. Bring your bike or paddle board. Stay on the water or explore the shore. Pop into the pub or order groceries from the store, then climb aboard and settle in on the beach for a campfire and star gazing. It’s really an amazing way to enjoy the Shuswap.
