Sicamous & Eagle Valley

Welcome to Sicamous - it’ll surprise you!

Sicamous is a way of life. Where the energy of nature sparks the energy of people - no matter where you sit on the energy dial.

Sicamous and its neighbours – Malakwa, Eagle Valley, Craigellachie, and Three Valley Gap – boast an astounding natural backdrop for life on the water and the land. From cabins to canoeing, camping to snowmobiling, hiking to houseboating and everything in-between, whether you’re looking to relax and sun-soak or for something more adventurous, Sicamous has it all.

In spring, summer, and fall you can enjoy every water sport imaginable: houseboating, leisure boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming, waterskiing, wakeboarding, fishing, and windsurfing.

But that doesn’t water down our other great qualities! The Sicamous area is full of family-friendly activities. Visit the Last Spike, Skytrek or the Enchanted Forest. And of course, an ice cream from D Dutchman Dairy is the perfect end (or beginning) to any summer day.

Snowmobilers can take advantage of four spectacular riding areas with hundreds of kilometres of groomed and ungroomed trails – an exceptional riding experience. Adventurous cross-country skiers can try the Larch Hills Traverse‚ a 42 km trail traveling from Salmon Arm to Sicamous, with stunning vistas of Shuswap and Mara Lakes.

Ever imagined traveling wherever you want around a massive warm-water lake? For a uniquely Shuswap vacation, make the fantasy a reality in Sicamous, the Houseboating Capital of Canada.
