Canoe Beach has a beautiful pebbly-sand beach, big shady trees, roped off swimming area, beach volleyball courts, grassed area for picnics, boat launch washrooms and change facilities, group shelter and concession stand. The park is ideal for families, corporate picnics and large group gatherings. Within steps of the beach are baseball diamonds, the Park Hill Trail system and the community of Canoe.
Near the town of Enderby, Gardom Lake is a popular fishing and recreational destination. This family lake is visited throughout the year as it provides fun for both park goers and anglers alike. Location: From Vernon, travel north on HWY 97A through the town of Enderby and turn left at HWY 97B towards Salmon Arm. The next major left is Gardom Lake Road, which leads to the park and lake.
Harbour Road has become one of the most popular boat launches in the Shuswap. The site is 20 m wide by approximately 100 m long. There is a public toilet (vault privy), garbage receptacles, cement boat launch and 60 ft. dock for temporary loading and unloading of boats.
This lake is great for fishing year round and is conveniently located just east of Enderby. This lake is home to 3 separate recreation sites with a total of 46 campsites and each site has a boat launch. Location: 24 KM east of Enderby. From the town of Enderby on HWY 97A travel east along Enderby-Mabel Lake Road. At the community of Ashton Creek follow the Trinity Valley Road south over the Shuswap River to Hidden-Shuswap Road.
Markwart Road Boat Launch is a year-round launch located in Sorrento. There is a vault toilet, a garbage receptacle for public convenience, 11 parking stalls for vehicles and boat trailers and a boat dock for temporary moorage while loading and unloading. No overnight parking is permitted at Markwart Road Boat Launch.
The park is situated on the old delta of Scotch Creek, has one kilometer of sandy, pebble beach, and includes the whole of Copper Island. The park also offers a large grassy play area, an adventure playground, a large boat launch. and a self-guiding nature trail.
We offer year round moorage and covered storage, seasonal and short term moorage. At Shuswap Marina you will find a FULL Service Department ready and able to repair all makes and models of boat and motor from stem to stern! We offer a boat towing service on the water to get you home when things go wrong! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards, kayaks and water toys and also offer the only surf shop in Blind Bay.
Wild Rose Bay is secluded and rarely visited park mainly due to its distance from the Highway. A recreational trail has been constructed leading from the parking lot down to the shoreline. The parking lot is substantial and includes a public washroom and garbage receptacle. Access by boat is difficult at low water periods due to the rocky shoreline; however, the views across the lake from the point are unsurpassed.
Windsor Road is a lake access park in Swansea Point. Windsor Road is a public boat launch and is also used by emergency vehicles to access the lake. This site has a bike rack, parking and picnic tables for public use. There is a dock that can be used at your own risk for temporary moorage.
