Our annual Gold Panning Championship event is held every May Long Weekend. The whole weekend is filled from morning to night with events like panning, gold rush, claim staking,dirt toss, pan toss, bannock baking, metal detecting, music and games for all different ages and qualifications. All prizes are small nuggets!
Blind Bay Painters Annual Art Show held the Canada Day weekend. The Enderby Arts Festival is a free family oriented street festival held every July in downtown Enderby. The Falkland Stampede started in 1919, just after the war, as a picnic which has grown over the years to a three day rodeo. People from all over the world have come to our little town to take in this jam packed, fun filled Stampede. Professional Cowboys participate for prizes worth over $50,000.

The purpose of the Shuswap Music Festival is to encourage, support, challenge and celebrate music students and amateur musicians by providing opportunities for learning and performing on the road to musical excellence. In addition, the Festival provides the opportunity for constructive and professional evaluations of musical performances.
The Adams River has one of the largest Sockeye salmon runs in North America. Every fourth year is a “dominant” salmon run, with millions of fish to be seen from late September through to the end of October (2018 is a dominant run).
This long-running community event centres around the myriad species of fungi found in the rich ecological Shuswap region. Mushroom biologist will be leading walks and talks, to teach more about the various species of fungi found in the area. It is not unusual for new species to be identified during the festival. WOW! is a series of summer Wednesday evening musical concerts at Salmon Arm’s Marine Park. Musical styles ranging from jazz to rock, funk to folk are offered from mid-June through to the end of August. Held in the Park’s gazebo, listeners are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the music.
