Feature Equestrian Trails

Skimikin Lake Equestrian Rec Site and Trails (Skimikin Valley) ‚ are managed by the EQ Trails Association in partnership with the Province of BC. This recreation site is designed specially for equestrian camping, with corrals and an extensive series of trails surrounding the hills above. 

Larch Hills Trail System (Larch Hills) ‚ the winter Nordic system transforms into an equestrian trail destination, with overnight equestrian camping and lodging available in the Main Chalet. Horse corrals sponsored by the EQ Trails Association and the Central Okanagan Backcountry Horsemen are put in place at the Main Chalet trailhead. For information on camping and cabin rates visit:

Blind Bay White Lake Trail System (South Shuswap) ‚ the multi-use trail system is most easily accessed by equestrian riders from the White Lake trailhead. Watch for mountain bikers and hikers. or
