The TrailRider is an adaptable type of transport made to access nature for less mobile people, engineered by Sam Sullivan.  Very simple explanation of what a TrailRider is; a Wheel/ Seat , rickshaw handles with sherpa friends guiding and rolling along  assisting people to experience Freedom from a wheelchair,  cane, or limited mobility.  No one gets left behind with teamwork of all.  The intention of the TrailRider program is to provide opportunities for physically disabled and less mobile individuals to experience the outdoors. Two TrailRiders and a SandRider beach wheelchair  are available in the Shuswap for a nominal donation.
