Wild Rose Bay

Wild Rose Bay is a secluded and little visited park mainly due to its distance from the Highway.
A trail has been constructed leading from the parking lot down to the shoreline. The parking lot is substantial and includes a public washroom and garbage receptacle. Access by boat is difficult at low water periods due to the rocky shoreline; however, the views across the lake from the point are unsurpassed.

Wild Rose Bay is owned by the CSRD it was aquired through a Free Crown Grant and has been substantially improved as a lake access.

Turn off Trans Canada Highway at Balmoral Road, proceed north for approximately 2.8 km to Blind Bay Road, keep straight onto Eagle Bay Road, travel approximately 27 kms. The parking lot is on the left hand side of road.
