Sunnybrae Park

Turn off Trans Canada Highway at Sunnybrae-Canoe Point Road 15 km west of Salmon Arm. Proceed 3.7 km to park on right, opposite Sunnybrae Hall

This site is a former day use Provincial Park that was transferred to the CSRD in 2006. It is 17.75 ha (43.84 acres) in size, including over 1500 metres (41,921 feet) of shoreline on Shuswap Lake. It has a large parking area with a picnic area adjacent to one of the best beaches in the Shuswap. There are flush toilets and a short trail up to the top of the bluffs across the road for a wonderful view across the lake. A childrens playground was installed in 2009 with help from the local Fire Department and other Volunteers. In 2010, the bathrooms were renovated.
