Chase is an ideal base for adventures around the west of the Shuswap.
From Chase you can explore Little Shuswap Lake, Neskonlith, Chase Creek, Turtle Valley, and the Adams Lake Area.
The village of Chase sits on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake and the South Thompson River Valley. Our lakeside location and plentiful amenities make Chase a delight in all seasons! The downtown core is lined with seasonal blooms and is a lovely place to stroll through specialty stores, art and culture venues, and restaurants. Stop into a café for a latté, a bannock taco or pick up fresh bread and treats for a picnic downtown or lakeside!
Authentic Indigenous culture excursions start here! Take in a pow wow, taste the food, and go on a canoe journey during summer. Year-round sit in a kekuli and listen to stories of the Secwepemc people or experience a healing ceremony in a sweat lodge.
If parks and recreation are more your style, you’ll love our splash pad, skate park, wading pool, and 300 metre long iconic red wharf! Enjoy a day in the sand at Memorial Park beach. Music lovers should be sure to visit Chase in July and August, to enjoy great concerts at Music on the Lake and Chase CornStock.
No Shuswap adventure is complete without our great outdoors. Take time for a casual round of golf at Sunshore Golf Course or Talking Rock Resort. Visit the spectacular Chase Creek Falls, marvel at wildflowers along our hiking trails, play in Little Shuswap Lake, or make tracks in crosscountry ski season.
