Skimikin Lake Campground
Skimikin Lake Campground is open from April to October and is located just 15 kilometers West of Salmon Arm off of Highway 1. This Ministry of Forests Natural Resources Operations Recreation Site is home to more than 35 large sites with 8 being equine specific and 15 corrals, on or close to this lake.
Some of the amenities featured include fire pits, stocked lake, picnic tables, pit toilets, approximately 100 kilometers of trail, and an onsite caretaker. As well, the campsite has ample parking at the entrance for day use visitors, and is an excellent location for biking, riding and hiking. Location: 15 Kilometers West of Salmon Arm, exit of Highway 1 going South at Tappen Valley Road and then turn East on Skimikin Lake Road.
