Before and after Salty Dog, play here as long as you want. Salmon Arm is at the heart of the Shuswap region – home to legendary cyclinghouseboating, waterskiinggolfhiking, and countless other amazing experiences.

Have just one day?

Take a morning hike up Mount Baldy a 6 km return trip to 360-degree views over the Adams River, Copper Island, Sorrento, and Blind Bay.

Post-hike, stop by Crannog Ales, then lunch at Sprokkets Café at the Dreamcycle Motorcycle Museum.

Spend the afternoon and evening in Salmon Arm. Stroll the waterfront, catch live music, browse the shops and enjoy great local restaurants

Indulging for three days?

Day 1: Ride the epic Larch Hills Traverse, a 43 km of mostly singletrack from Salmon Arm to Sicamous. Take a dip at Sicamous Beach, then refuel on the patio at Moose Mulligans or Bahama Johns.

Day 2: Tour the Shuswap’s fine wineries, traveling from high benches to low valley bottoms, lakeside and riverside. Pair with stops at great restaurants like Jack Sam’s at Quaaout Lodge and Shuswap Chefs.

Day 3: Take to the water! Rent a SUP at Enderby Kayak for a trip down the Shuswap River to Mara Lake. Dive in the water to refresh, and bring lunch from the Blue Canoe Bakery in your dry bag. End the day with burgers and shakes from D & E Drive Inn Restaurant and a flick at the Starlight Drive-In Theater.
